Question Set

n-tier questions in question set

otacke's picture

It can be useful to have a question set allow n-tier questions.

A simple example is a question set that contains two multiple choice questions (2-tier question) with question 1 asking for a fact and question 2 asking for a justification why question 1 was correct. Passing the exercise could e.g. require to have all tiers answered correctly or to meet the passing requirements for each question.

Improving Multiple Choice question type

Hello,

I would like to suggest a feature that is already implemented in an official online test called eYDS in Turkey.

In Multiple Choice (with sentence completion), when one of the options is clicked, the selected words/phrases appear in the blanks in the question text/sentence (see Multiple 1 and 2; Multiple 1 is before the option is clicked and Multiple 2 is after the option is clicked).

Controls should be on top in some quizzes

Hello,

When there are very long and very short question items in a quiz, arrows for back and forward navigation keep changing their position on the page. You can test this yourself in the attached quiz. Upload it and try, for example, to go backwards - from Question 100 to Question 1. I know that there is another option for navigation but it is not a good idea to use "bullets/spots" for navigation in a quiz with so many questions; the footer area in the quiz will be far too crowded with 100 spots.
