A free HTML5 based content type allowing creatives to create quizzes. Many question types are supported like multiple choice, fill in the blanks, drag the words, mark the words and regular drag and drop. All you need is this content type and H5P.com or the H5P plugin in publishing systems like Canvas, Brightspace, Blackboard, Moodle and WordPress.

Question Set is your typical quiz content type. It allows the learner to solve a sequence of various question types. You can combine many different question types like Multichoice, Drag and drop and Fill in the blanks in a Question set. As an author there are many settings you can use to make it behave just the way you want it to. You may for instance customize the Question set with background images and define a pass percentage for the learner.
The Question Set also allows you to add videos that are played at the end. One video for success, another if the learner fails the test. This might motivate learners to try again if they fail so that they get to see the success video.

Is there no concept of adaptive question set in H5P??
Thu, 05/16/2019 - 03:43
Hi arjunparos,When you say
When you say adaptive do you mean that the succeding questions depends on the user's answer? If so this is not possible with question set but you can use Branching Scenario. If you meant something else please elaborate your question.

Mon, 05/27/2019 - 05:50
Hi k l narayana,Yes you can.
Hi k l narayana,
Yes you can. By default question set does not randomize the questions not unless you place a check on the option "Randomize Questions".

Hi,The easiest way is to use
The easiest way is to use a PHP hook, to add your own CSS-file to the content type. Please visit the Visual Changes page for more details.

Question Set with Drag and Drop: Total Count Incorrect
There seem to be a bug when you use Question set with Drag and Drop. We have the option "Give one point for the whole task" checked for each of these questions types and we also have a Question Limit (Number of questions to be shown) set to 35 of 46 with a passing threshhold of 80%. When taking the entire quiz we got a result of 38/45 which seems to be incorrect since it should be X / 35 if each question is set to 1 point.
Side Node: The only other question type we have in this quiz is Multiple Choice.

Massive upload of questions
Is there a way to upload questions massively instead of one by one?
I guess it can be done coding, but if there is something already built it'll be grateful.

I'm afraid there is no feature in any H5P content type that allows you to do this.

I was wondering if there was any plan to include a leaderboard option, to display what the other users have answered.
Tue, 08/20/2019 - 20:36
Hi larnoult,I don't think
I don't think there is. The H5P core team invests their time in creating the contents and making sure that most if not all of them will provide a way to get grades/results in the form of xAPI statements. It is up to the LRS/LMS to interpret these information. However it is possible to do this by using an LRS with a built in "ranking" feature or someone can build it.

Thank you, any advice?
Thanks for the quick feedback. I understand your answer, yet, I find it odd, that there is no simple way to show in front (through a shortcode for ex) what is already available in the admin "result" (admin.php?page=h5p&task=results&id=XXX) page.
Furthermore, I didn't find any clear tutorial on how to use these xAPI results to display them on my site; any suggestion?

Numerical tolerance for fill in the blank
Is there a way to set a tolerance for numerical answers for the fill in the blank portion of the quiz set? I am looking for a way that I can account for rounding and such. For example if the answer is 10 I would like to set it so that the answer could be + or - 5%. That way if students answered anywhere between 9.5 and 10.5 would be right. Thanks so much

Hi Flinnagin,I'm afraid this
I'm afraid this is not possible without changing the code. I suggest that you post this as a feature request in the Feature Request forum.
