IV WITH COLORS
Primary tabs
A free HTML5-based presentation content type which allows users to add multiple choice questions, fill in the blanks, text, and other types of interactions to their presentations using only a web browser. Create engaging presentations with H5P and Course Presentation in publishing systems like Canvas, Brightspace, Blackboard, Moodle and WordPress.

Description
Course presentations consist of slides with multimedia, text, and many different types of interactions like interactive summaries, multiple choice questions and interactive videos. Learners can experience new interactive learning material and test their knowledge and memory in Course Presentations. As always with H5P, content is editable in web browsers, and the Course Presentation activity type includes a WYSIWYG drag and drop based authoring tool.
A typical use of the Course Presentation activity is to use a few slides to introduce a subject and follow these with a few more slides in which the user’s knowledge is tested. Course Presentations may however be used in many different ways, including as a presentation tool for use in the classroom, or as a game where the usual navigation is replaced with navigation buttons on top of the slides to let the user make choices and see the consequences of their choices.

Mini Course
Hi,
I notice the example here of Course Presentation has been updated to include the new Mini Course feature. Mini course is where you can have multiple Course Presentations in a combined activity.
This is a great improvement, for example, I have a course which is spliut into sub-sections. I can now condence these seperate sub-sections in to a single 'presentation' where Presentation 1.0 is shown first, then followed by 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc. meaning I do not need to have 4 individual activities.
Mini Course doesn't seem available on the download examples page yet, but looks like it's on it's way soon - Any ETA?.
I am curious how grading works for individual presentations; as a whole in the Mini Course and how this may impact on Moodle grades.
Cheers

Hi,
The possibility to show several Presentation's on this page is not implemented as an H5P.
When you say Mini Course, you might think of this page. I have been working on making it into an H5P, but it is a side-project I am doing, so it will take some time before it is released. ETA is not known yet.

Ah Ha!
Hi Fnoks,
Ah, I see - well the example on this page seems to fit the basic description of a mini course :-) I do like this format used here.
As for the actual Mini Course project you've been working on - It looks great too! I like to progress and grade indicators.
I'll make a quick comment on the page you linked to.
Many Thanks

Videoplayer in Course Presentation
Hello,
First of all, good work! Love the H5P module.Thanks.
When I add a video is it possible to disable the "download video button" in the videocontrols panel.
The only solution is to disable or hide the videocontrols, but I think they are very usefull.
So is it possible to show the videocontrols but hide the "download video" option? People shouldn't be able to download the video content we've created.
Greetings,

Hi Rudo,
there isn't an option for that yet. But if you're familiar with css or have access to a developer, you could change the code to not show the button.
Perhaps if you made a feature request in the feature request forum, a developer from the community will pick it up.
Thanks,

Not css after all
I looked into this, and it seems that the controls you see in the video, are native for the browser. It uses the <video> element, and the controls that automatically comes with it. So you cant remove it trough css after all.
If I were you, I would just use interactive video (without interactions), and your problem is solved.

We have noticed that when we try to change the Copyright of the background picture, the actual menu will not show fully. We are not able to access any of the buttons to save or close this option. This happens in the in the Moodle plugin. Is there any way to get around this?

Hi,
Thank you for highlighting this issue, I have made an issue in the public tracker to fix this.
I'm sorry, there does not seem to be any easy workaround for this. You could use a normal image as a background, this could work, but could be quite tedious I imagine.

Adjust screen size
For the project I am currently working on I need to alter the screen size (the canvas size) of my presentation: it should be higher, in order to avoid vertical scroll bars. Is it possible to change the dimensions of the screen? Maybe by hard-coding?

Canvas is not 16:9
I'm confused about the canvas size; I am trying to use PowerPoint to make some images as lesson slides to be followed by quiz slides. But the Course Presentation layout seems to be 746x378, which is not 16:9. I can create a custom page width in PowerPoint to manage to that, but I would prefer to have a way to make my slides narrower--especially I want all of my content to respond down to smartphone sizing.

Hi Ted,
Thanks a lot for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful. In order for your feature request to attract as much interest as possible make sure it follows the below guidelines:
It is clear from every perspective how the feature will work. We recommend describing the feature with one or more user stories, for instance “As an author I want it to be possible to pick between different effects for the check answer animation so that the learners will see a variety of effects and also I can adapt the effects to my target audience(I’ll be using pink unicorns which works really well for both my target audience which are 4 year old girls and venture capitalists)”
If the feature can be illustrated with images or videos it always helps
Make it clear what content types this is relevant for, and or if this is a new content type
Make sure you post the feature in the Feature Request forum.

Importing interactive video
After creating a few interactive videos, I thought it may be a good idea to incorporate them in a series of slides in the course presentation. Unfortunately there is no option for me to import the completed interactive videos. Instead, I would have to recreate them in the course presentation module. Is there a better way to do this?

Update: attribute "runnable"
Hello again!
I have found this informations about the library definition: https://h5p.org/library-definition#librunnable

= "A library can be runnable, but doesn't have to be. If it's runnable, it means you can create content using this library. If it isn't runnable, it's a utility library used by other libraries."
So I have, for example, the Interactive Video changed to "0" (no runnable) but without effects. My Users can created Interactive Video Types (standalone) ongoing... What am I doing wrong? :-(

Hi, If you "restrict" a library it will be restricted everywhere, as both standalone and within other libraries.
The "runnable" option is not what you think it is. If you set runnable to 0 the library can not be used standalone or within other content types. It may only be used as an utility library within other libraries (in code), which is not what you want.
Unfortunately there are currently no functionality to restrict a library as stadalone but not within other content types.

I do not think so. Imagine the case that besides H5P other tools are used. If one would activate all content types of H5P, it might lead to redundancies. Especially in the context of larger scenarios (institutions), considerations of further factors are important - e.g. end-user support. That was the origin of my question :)

Yes that does help, thanks. I don't get exactly the same as the screen as your screenshot, but by opening up the keyword list and manually asdding the slide number as a keyword for each slide - I end up with a means of getting around more quickly. Since the keywords display covers the left third of the slide area, I find that I have to close it down to work on that part (I'm populating the full slide view for end users)- but its still a time saver over clicking 70 times to get to a slide!!

What's wrong with WordPress?
I've tried, here on h5p.org, this Course Presentation content (How are you familiar with France). It's awesome - thanks!
So I downloaded it and "imported" into my WP sandbox, here: https://sandbox.ital2.org/giocare-con-le-presentazioni/
In this case, though, when I reach the end of the "game", I get stuck on the last slide. I try to refresh, logout/login, etc. but nothing...
How about giving another shot, watching it again..., I mean: reset it?
Is it a known WP/H5P issue?
