Interactive Content - HP5 - can't create content

Hello,

Here's an issue I'm experiencing - using Moodle 3.3.

The plugin installed just fine. I'm listing the steps that lead to a problem:

  1. click Add an activity or resource when editing pages in Moodle.
  2. select Interactive Content from the list of plugins - click Add
  3. in the Editor section, I select Content type as Drag and Drop (the same problem persists with any other content type)
  4. Look at the attached image now - basically, the content doesn't load - I could wait 2 hours, and it would still be loading.

How can we resolve this? The Moodle platform is part of a larger organisation hosting online courses - therefore, we'd like to avoid installing a higher Moodle version. Is there a way to use another (older) version of the plugin that might work?

I use Chrome, but I tested the same under Internet Explorer - same issue.

Many thanks

Hi ktlangspec,

THe H5P plugin should work fine with your version of Moodle.

In order to give your bug report the best chance of getting answered, please include the following information:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)
  2. Platform and version number. Moodle 3.3
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  7. Any browser console errors
  8. Any PHP errors

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!

Ok, then. Here goes:

  1. Exact steps to reproduce the problem: How and when this happens: I enter the editing mode as administrator on Moodle. Entering the Add a resource section and choosing the Interactive content plugin. On the resulting page, I scroll to the Editor section and choose Content type. I choose Drag the Words (no Content type works, by the way). Here, I click Details and then "Use". This results in the message "Loading, please wait" and a spinning wheel, which, if I left it there, could spin until the end of this galaxy. :) The image of this was attached in my original message at the top of this thread.
  2. Platform and version number. Moodle 3.3
  3. Mobile or Desktop: Desktop
  4. Browser: the same issue arises in Chrome and Internet Explorer (not Edge)
  5. H5P plugin version: 1.16
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.: as stated above, it was Drag the Words, but this happens with any of the the content types. I am not able to publish anything , so there's no url (I'd have to give you my admin access data, which I won't :) )
  7. Any browser console errors: none display
  8. Any PHP errors : did all levels of debugging, no PHP errors display.

Many thanks for your help.
