Course Presentation - using arrows for positioning object...bug...

febster's picture

Hi there,

I'm just getting into using arrows to position objects more quickly in course presentations.

Basically, I noticed that if you use the arrows to position objects (I was using an audio button), then once you update/save the file on WP, the objects which you positioned using arrows will be randomly shifted to different spots on the page. This nullifies the usefulness of using arrows to position objects. However, this problem doesn't exist if you just use the mouse or manually insert the numbers for the XY positioning.

See what's happening here: https://screencast.com/t/vivecD2I

Anyhow, not sure if others are experiencing this issue...but hopefully can be addressed. As in the video, I'm using Safari in WP.

Best,

Timothy

Cheers! Many thanks for looking into this! I tested it more and it seems it happens to other objects beyond the audio element...Picture files do this as well. Anyhow, love H5P so hope it helps others, too! Regards, Timothy

Sorry, it seems others cannot replicate this issue. Were you able to? I tried it on Chrome, and it worked...It could be just a bizarre issue on my computer when I use Safari, then. I'm really sorry if this is the case. I don't mean to waste anyone's time. My apologies if this cannot be replicated. Will endeavor to be even more careful next time before reporting something.

Regards,

Timothy

No worries Thimothy! :) If it's just a Safari bug, it's still important to catch.

Thanks again for the great screencast! If more people made those, our job would be sooo much easier :)

Have a great day!
