Hello
In the Single Choice set, question and answer boxes are replacing some text with ASCII code. For example Meselson and Stahl's experiments becomes Meselson and Stahl's experiments when published.

Yes, it should be possible
Yes, it should be possible doing this by adding some custom javascript to your page. This code should listen for xAPI events as described here: http://h5p.org/forum/h5p-and-xapi. When the custom javascript receives an event, it may (optional) convert it to some other format, and send it to an external URL.
Here is an (untested) example showing have to listen for xAPI-statements, and send them to an URL using HTTP POST:

Random questions
Single Choice Set does not currently support randomizing the questions nor does it have support for a countdown/maximum time. If we could get a sponsor for this functionality, it would be something we could consider implementing.
Thank you for sharing your ideas!

Should be add all the questions on only post, look like the Question Library. So user can choose custom show the questions (E.g: 10 question per level). It will get RANDOM question form all Question Library.

I love the sound effect and the presentation of right and wrong anwers! Could it be possible to apply this feature to all the other H5P activities?
The smooth transition from one question to another is great too!

Hi Nathalie
I'm glad you like how single choice set works! :)
There are no plans to apply sound effects and right/wrong style to the other H5P activities at this moment. Although we generally aim to have a consistent look for the content types.
Have a nice day,

Embed problem with IE11
Hi, I'm using content created on H5P on a small web site I'm working on. Everything works fine in Chrome and Opera, but IE11 is not rendering the embed properly. I've played around with it and I think it's something to do with the embedded page. I've tried setting the height and width of the iframe with css rather than in the embed string, and other embedded pages are working fine. The iframe is taking up the right amount of space (if you put something else on the page, it appears where I'd expect it to), but the embedded page is about 1-2 lines in height instead of the 350px it should be, and you can only see the bottom edge of the content, where the progress bar is. It's as if the page is embedded but then scrolled right up to the top. You can see one of the affected pages here; select the Quiz accordion to see where it should be: http://www.nwyhelearning.nhs.uk/elearning/northwest/christie/pelvicresou...
Any help gratefully received!

Fixed!
Thanks to @falcon-git on gitter, this is fixed and I have a workaround - the problem is with the fact I'm putting the quiz in an initially collapsed accordion. You have to start the page with the accordion open so that H5P knows how tall it needs to be; then with javascript you immediately close it again. Use the following code, replacing #GastroSH2 with whatever your accordion ID is:
<script>
$(document).ready(function() {
$('#GastroSH2').collapse('hide');
});
</script>

Hi,If you answer the first
Hi,
If you answer the first question and you'll get to see the second question the upper answer is marked in "red". Counts for all the following questions.
It's like the upper box is checked. Coulors red.
This is also the case on the example on top of this page.
It only unchecks when you click on any space next to the module.
Is there a solution? I've tested different browsers.

Purple
Hi,
The upper choice on question 2, is actually a purple color. It's meant to indicate the initial selection, so that e.g. keyboard users can use arrow keys to navigate.
I'm a little bit worried that we picked a color to similar to red, since you found it confusing. But thank you for reporting it in.
Have a great day Rudo!

Single Choice set
Hi Fabulari,
When creating the content the first on the alternative would always be the correct answer. This is by design to make sure that creators of the content won't get confused which one is the correct answer. It is also by design that the options will automatically be shown in random order.
So when creating the content just make sure that the first alternative is the correct answer and the content will take care of randomizing the position of the answers.

Very fast marking the answers.
Hi,
first of all, it's a great tool. I loved it from the first sight. Now I'm starting to testing and creating some quizzes.
When the user marks the wrong answer and then right after this will click the good one, both of them will be marked. Of course, the bad one will be the main one but for a while, till the answers will fade away, both of them are marked. In my opinion, it looks strange. It works similarly when the user clicks the good answer. I think the best would be if after the first choice the user couldn't click anything else.

Remove countdown
Hi Barshchoo,
So that the user won't be able to change their answer you need to change the "Timeout" options to 0. You can find these options under "Behavioural settings".

Thanks for the very fast answer. I've changed it and... it works the same. I still can mark another answer even when one of them I already have chosen. And I think It shouldn't depend on time. Any answer should block the possibilities to mark any other answer.

Hi Barshchoo,
Hmm.. that's odd. I've tested this several times and it works well. But you do have a point that there should be a setting to "automatically check" once an answer has been chosen. I suggest that you head over to the feature request forum to post this suggestion.

Displaying more than one question is not possible with Quiz (question set) but you can achieve a similar function by creating a Course Presentation or Column.

Hi her82man,
if show solution is check ones the user clicks on the "Show Solution" button it will show them the solution correct answers at the end. If you are looking for an actual explanation of the questions/answers I'm afraid this is not possible. Although there is a workaround by using Course Presentation or Column which enables you include several contents in one activity.

Single Choice Set
Hi,
is it correct that the single choice set limits the number of alternative answers to 4?
I am very pleased with the module, it is a great design, but I would like to use 6 alternative answers. Can this be set somewhere?

Hi Toon,Yes this is possible
Hi Toon,
Yes this is possible by editing the semantics.json of single choice set. You need to change the max value from 4 to 6. Please note undesirable results may result from changing the code (I suggest that you make the changes in a test environment). Furthermore an upgrade to the libraries of single choice set will remove the changes you made and this could cause issues to previously created content (i.e. missing choices when it reverts back to max = 4). You can read more about this here.

Enable show solutions button / retry
Hi,
This is a great activity. I was just wondering why if you choose all the correct answers you are not given the option to see the solutions? The solutions provided with the questions in a list is very handy for students who could even copy and paste it into a word doc etc for future reference. It's the same with the retry button (in all activities). If you get them all correct you can't go back and have another go. It would be a nice addition if these 2 buttons came up regardless of how many correct answers were selected.
Cheers
Simone

Hi Simone,
This is a very good idea. Thanks a lot for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful. In order for your feature request to attract as much interest as possible make sure it follows the below guidelines:
It is clear from every perspective how the feature will work. We recommend describing the feature with one or more user stories, for instance “As an author I want it to be possible to pick between different effects for the check answer animation so that the learners will see a variety of effects and also I can adapt the effects to my target audience(I’ll be using pink unicorns which works really well for both my target audience which are 4 year old girls and venture capitalists)”
If the feature can be illustrated with images or videos it always helps
Make it clear what content types this is relevant for, and or if this is a new content type
Make sure you post the feature in the Feature Request forum.

accessibility issues with this activity
Hi BV52
Thanks for getting back to me and I will carve out some time to do this. Unfortunately we probably now won't be able to use this activity due to accessibility issues. It's listed on the contents list as ok for accessibilty, however we test using firefox and the NVDA screen reader and found these issues:
· If you have any tips regarding this would love to hear them.

Hi Simone, Thank you for your
Hi Simone, Thank you for your feedback.
When we make content types accessible we strive to follow the WCAG 2.0 AA and WAI-ARIA standard so that we'll support as many different accessibility devices and softwares as possible. We're always looking to improve our accessibility so I have some follow up questions to the issues you have found:
Choices are buttons instead of radio buttons and they are not grouped, so it’s not clear how many in the set
The choices can not be radio buttons because they behave differently from how radio buttons would behave, e.g. a list that can only have a single entry checked at one time, and you should be able to select a different radio button before being moved instantaneously to the next slide. This is why we went for buttons instead radiobuttons. I agree that there should be some grouping for the buttons, do you have any suggestion for a role or container that would fit this purpose ?
Buttons can’t all be tabbed and can only be reached with arrow keys once you tab to the first one.
I suppose the buttons are kind of a hybrid between buttons and radiobuttons, and this is why this is done. This is the behaviour you would expect for radiobuttons, right ? But since they are buttons it does not make sense to navigate them with arrows, you'd rather want to tab between them ?
When you get an answer wrong, the screen reader announces incorrect — although the correct answer is highlighted green, it is not read out.
Indeed, there is a lot of visual information when a wrong action is selected, and there is not enough time to convey it textually to the user before a new slide is shown and a new question must be read. This is a bit of a design flaw with how Single Choice Set is made, you don't have enough time to digest all the information, and there's no way to go back and re-experience it if you missed it unfortunately.
I have created an issue for looking into it in more detail at H5P's issue tracker where you can follow along the progress. Thank you again for this feedback.
Best regards, Thomas

Auto continue
Without having read all the comments here, I would like to mention "Auto continue" can be disabled in "Behavioural settings". This makes this content type more accessible since it stops taking the learner to the next question when an answer is given. Instead, a next button is displayed!
I hope that is relevant.
