Getting Involved
All code is now shared on GitHub.
Apply for developer access to contribute here on h5p.org and share your own libraries with the rest of the world.
Contact us if you're interested in improving the H5P Documentation or help translate some of our resources to other languages.
H5P is an open source project that aims to be community driven. At the moment Joubel, a company co-founded by the open source companies Amendor AS and Cerpus AS, is the driving force behind H5P. However, more and more developers have shown their interest in participating in the H5P project. Read more about the H5P project here.
To get really good rich content, the cost of producing such content must be reduced. And in order to do so, the content needs to become reusable. This is one of the main ideas behind H5P. H5P makes it easy for others to share their rich content with the rest of the world. It should be just as easy to translate and customize content that others have created.
You should get involved with H5P so that H5P becomes more powerful, offers better documentation, better content types, better content and more resources to the community.
Also, be active in the Forum and influence the direction of H5P!

You can simply provide the URL of your content, it is publicly available. Please note that H5P.org is for trying out the contents and it's best to sign up for H5P.com or host your own content/ You could go to the getting started pagehttps://h5p.org/getting-started to learn how to get started with H5P if they are done trying it out on H5P.org or sign up for a subscription inH5P.com.

Hi Alejandro,This can be done
Hi Alejandro,
This can be done by clicking on the "reuse" button at the bottom of the content. Please note tht the author has control if he/she wants to enable this so some contents will not have this option.

Retry option
I am using H5P in Moodle.
From what I understand from my students (and I have tested this myself), even if the RETRY box is not chosen for an interactive video question (and thus should not be able to retry a question), they can answer the question and then reload the page to the page to answer the question again. Consequently, by refreshing a page you can retry the question. This does not make sense to me. Does anyone have a solution to this.

Hi pghayad,
You are correct refreshing the browser does let you "retry" the activity. Please note that H5P contents are designed as a learning tool and is not advisable to use for exam purposes.

Ok. Thanks. I appreciate your response. Consequently, if we do not permit "Retry" what exactly does this do (since students can retry by refreshing). Sorry: but I do not understand the purpose of not selecting "Retry". Thanks for your help!

Hi again,
Thanks for your responses.
I just spoke to our Moodle department.
1) Is there anything that you can do on your end to block a student from re-trying an H5P activity once they have completed it?
2) Once a student completes an H5P activity and the grade goes into the Moodle gradebook, if they refresh the browser or reload that page, that grade will disappear (this is obviously a problem for students and thus for me). Is there any way of fixing this issue? Example: once a grade gets sent by H5P it can no longer be changed? In a sense, this would solve for the problem of not being able to re-try, since the grade will not change. Our Moodle team indicated to me that they cannot do this on their end.
Our school appreciates your help on these matters!
