A few bags in Multiple choice, mark the words, drag the words

k.kwasniewski's picture

Hi

Please find some issue which we find:

1. Multiple choice when I mark 2 right answers, 1 wrong I see only I point, it should be 2

2. Mark the words when I mark 2 right answers, 1 wrong I see only I point, it should be 2. Next problem is that: if proper answer has 2 words, it is impossible to check

3. In drag the words large phrases are visible partitaly when are dragged

Please find screencast wit exact descriptions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flpDJKDnF_0&feature=youtu.be

Thank you in advanced

Krzysztof

Hi Krzysztof,

Thank you for reaching out. The penalties are by design. If penalties are disabled you can just mark all the words always and get full score. The same with choices in multiple choice with checkboxes.

In the future in mark the words we might limit the number of words you can mark to avoid using penalties.

I think there should be a box that allows you to turn penalties off by unchecking. I understand this is not available by design and why, but sometimes it may make sense for a teacher to turn off penalties for a particular group of students.

Thanks,

Helen

Hi Helen,

Thanks a lot for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful. In order for your feature request to attract as much interest as possible make sure it follows the below guidelines:

  1. It is clear from every perspective how the feature will work. We recommend describing the feature with one or more user stories, for instance “As an author I want it to be possible to pick between different effects for the check answer animation so that the learners will see a variety of effects and also I can adapt the effects to my target audience(I’ll be using pink unicorns which works really well for both my target audience which are 4 year old girls and venture capitalists)”

  2. If the feature can be illustrated with images or videos it always helps

  3. Make it clear what content types this is relevant for, and or if this is a new content type

Make sure you post the feature in the Feature Request forum.
