Hi ksen-pol,

1) Yes, you understand correctly. I will personally check and merge the translations from CrowdIn to the release branch before each release and test them. At the beginning it will be a bit slow but as I get more familiar with CrowdIn I hope to release the translations quicker and quicker.

Follow this link:
crowdin.com/projects/H5P

You will be able to choose from all the translatable H5P projects.

2) This is more complex than copying and pasting. I recommend understanding the H5P tutorials before trying anything as it may ruin your set up.

3) If you have created an ru.json file you can set the language of your drupal installation to russian to see if it has been updated. Make sure you are using the development directory as explained the in the hello world tutorial.

4) You don't need to duplicate on Drupal.org

Привет ksen-pol,

я бы хотел пообщаться с вами по поводу перевода на русский язык. Я тоже заинтересован в русскоязычной версии H5P. Вы можете указать свою электронную почту для связи?

Hi!

I work for a portuguese education institution and I would like to translate H5P activities to Portuguese, preferably before September, as teachers start to flood moodle at that time.

Would it be possible to get the files please?

Hi,

I have started using H5P with my customized Moodle Platform just yesterday only... My LMS is going to cater to Indian Teachers and Trainers and I am interested in helping you out with Hindi translations for H5P... Please share the files that need to be translated and I shall do the needful...

Hi All,

I would like to know that if it possiable to translate all h5p hub content into norwegian language in totara or moodle ? if yes please can you guide me how to achieve this

what I have understood by reading the comment on page that you can translate course presentation, interactive video , flash card, memory game etc one by one into any language you want to translate in totara or moodle. Let suppose if I want to translate course presentation into norwegien language, how to do this.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Rahul,

You can read more about translating contents here. Please note that the core team is mostly composed of Norwegians and if I'm not mistaken all content types has been translated to Norwegian.

Hi BV52,

Thank for your reply. yes its true all the content have been translated into norwegien , but my question is how to enable it. Normally in totara you customize the langauge pack on site admin level and its reflect the translated text. As you can see in my attachment, I have check h5p in my mod dir, it has norsk language pack but how to enable it ?

I am so thankful for your guidance in my learning about H5P.

Hi BV52,

I have solved this issue now I can see all the h5p content in norsk . Thank you so much for your guidance mate :)

I have one suggestion ,  would better if h5p can put some video lecture about h5p setting and configuration it would immensely help people from non programing background.

Have a nice day .

Hi Kumar,

I'm glad you found what you are looking and thank you for the suggestion. We try to create as much walkthroughs and tutorials as we can but it is usally hard to keep up since the phase of updates for H5Ps is very fast. Oftentimes a tutorial may not applicable after a month or two but again we'll consider your suggestion :-)

Additonal note:

I was poking around the web regarding the differences/similarities between Totara and Moodle. What I found out is that Totara is a fork of Moodle with added features. What this means is that at the core of it it functions as Moodle. In effect any Moodle information that you will find in the forums, documentation and/or tutorial should work with Totara.

Hi BV52,

Thanks for your coperation , just one question H5P didn't organize any seminar in Norway or in Europe, mostly H5P held seminar in Australia.

Hi rahul!

H5P is an open source project and is depending on a vivid community. Everyone is welcome to contribute better and more documentation, and you'll find quite a bunch of tutorial videos on H5P. Also, I know that there are seminars in Europe that people offer at conferences, at open meetups or on a request basis. Also please note that if there are seminars in Australia, they are not organized by the core team of H5P.

Best,
Oliver

Hi Kumar!

As I mentioned, these seminars are not organized by the core team, so I don't know when and where they pop up. I just know that e.g. in Germany, there have been free workshops at the OERcamps this year and probably will be next year, too. In Belgium, the Arteveldehogeschool in Gent invited someone to host a seminar for their teaching staff, etc. You might check twitter and follow #H5P. Sometimes people announce their workshops there. Or you could check if there are H5P meetups close to your location,

There's also an introductory online course at mooin, but I assume that's German only.

Best,
Oliver
