Quiz (Question Set)
Primary tabs
A free HTML5 based content type allowing creatives to create quizzes. Many question types are supported like multiple choice, fill in the blanks, drag the words, mark the words and regular drag and drop. All you need is this content type and H5P.com or the H5P plugin in publishing systems like Canvas, Brightspace, Blackboard, Moodle and WordPress.

Description
Question Set is your typical quiz content type. It allows the learner to solve a sequence of various question types. You can combine many different question types like Multichoice, Drag and drop and Fill in the blanks in a Question set. As an author there are many settings you can use to make it behave just the way you want it to. You may for instance customize the Question set with background images and define a pass percentage for the learner.
The Question Set also allows you to add videos that are played at the end. One video for success, another if the learner fails the test. This might motivate learners to try again if they fail so that they get to see the success video.

Hi there,
Thanks to the user-friendly format of H5P I was able to create a nice quiz, which I embedded in my Wordpress website. Works fine on desktop and laptop, but not on mobile phone: the results won't show. I hope you can help me!
Many thanks,Tineke

Drag and Drop feedback missing
Hi
When the user gets to the end of the quiz question set and clicks on the show solution button, the feedback responses I set are not displaying for Drag & Drop questions, just the indication whether that matching was correct or incorrect. Funnily enough, if the user clicks on the "Check" button on the Drag & Drop question's page (i.e. don't wait to the end), the feedback table is displayed. Any reason why that table is missing when viewing "Show solutions"? It is visible for "Drag the words" type of questions.

Feedback
Hi
Thanks for your reply. I've tried your test content and the issue still stands for drag and drop questions (I'm only seeing indication whether the matching was correct or incorrect but no feedback table showing feedback for each dropzone's choice)
I'm using the h5p website to create the content, not one of the plugins. I've attached a copy of the output file. The issue relates to drag and drop types of questions only. I'm using a laptop and tried it both Firefox and Chrome.
The quiz was set up to display different feedback for the various dropzones in the drag and drop questions (feedback for both correct and incorrect matches). When I test the content on the h5p site itself in my account, the feedback table is only displayed if I click on the "Check" button during taking the quiz. The table is not displayed when the user goes through the quiz, submits the responses and then clicks on the Show solutions option and navigates to the drag and drop question.
Screenshot of feedback table when user clicks on Check button during the quiz:
Screenshot of feedback table missing when user clicks on Show solutions button at the end.
The H5P content itself is:
It would be great if the feedback table could be included in the show solutions option as well for this type of question (it works fine on drag the words question type, the table is displayed when showing the solutions).
Thanks

Hi! I am using this example on my site. However, there are some strings that are not translated into Spanish so I have to translate them all every time I create a question. I use Logo Translate but it seems all the strings for Spanish are complete. How can I translate what appears in English in my dashboard so I dont have to do it every single time I create a question? Thanks!

Disabling the "solution" button at the end of the quiz.
Hi.
I really like your platform. I see improvements since I have incorporated H5P content on Moodle. However, I would like my students to reach the correct answers themselves, and not H5P giving them the solution at the end of the quiz. I have disabled the button, but it reappears at the end of the quiz.
Thanks.

Hi VitalEnglishCanada,Yes
Hi VitalEnglishCanada,
Yes this is possible. In fact, many universities and schools are already collecting results from their students' interaction with H5P.
H5P emits data in the form of xAPI statements and you will need a plugin or custom code to listen to these statements and a data store such as a learning record store to save them in.
I highly recommend looking through this documentation first:

Multiple choice question
Hi,
Would it be possible to have a multiple choice question with 4 answers. And have 4 point available if it is answered correct on the first try, 2 points on teh 2nd try. 1 point for a third try. and 0 points for not getting it right at all ie. revealing all answers...? The learner would be provided with immediate feedback when selecting the answer and still gets points towards a final overall score.
Thankyou

Welcome to H5P!
Hi scovjcu,
Welcome to H5P!
This is not possible as of the moment since there are no codes in the contents that tracks "tries" for users. I do think that this can be feature that will greatly enhance the contents. We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful. In order for your feature request to attract as much interest as possible make sure it follows the below guidelines:
It is clear from every perspective how the feature will work. We recommend describing the feature with one or more user stories, for instance “As an author I want it to be possible to pick between different effects for the check answer animation so that the learners will see a variety of effects and also I can adapt the effects to my target audience(I’ll be using pink unicorns which works really well for both my target audience which are 4 year old girls and venture capitalists)”
If the feature can be illustrated with images or videos it always helps
Make it clear what content types this is relevant for, and or if this is a new content type
Make sure you post the feature in the Feature Request forum.

Hi Frederico,Currently there
Hi Frederico,
Currently there isn't a setting to automatically move to the next question. There is a certain complexity that comes with such feature in this content. For Multiple choice there is no way to know that the user is done choosing all the option that he thinks are correct. This is also true for Fill in the Blanks where there is no way to tell if the user is done typing his/her answer, unless there is an underlying feature that automatically checks the answer once the user typed the correct one. Which leads to another concern of only having the correct answers trigger the checking.
IMOO it is a neat idea to have an option to automatically go to the next question. There are just many other factors that needs to consider on how it will be implemented. If you have any suggestions feel free to post it in the Feature Request forum.

Hi Federico!
What if the Question Set contains a Multiple Choice question (as BV described). Let's say, it has 5 options and 3 of them are correct. In this case, how would H5P know when to go to the next question? It cannot simply jump if the three correct options have been checked, because you could then simply try out all of them. It's similar with Drag and Drop and Mark the Words, too.
Best,
Oliver

Greek characters in feedback
I've noticed that the question text field (I'm using the T/F question type at the moment) can handle special characters like m (mu) used in the micrometre, when you are editing a question. Yet the feedback fields can only handle very simple plain text, and when the question renders it reverts all text back to the standard character set, even in the question field! Any possibility of upgrading the functionality? If you want to create question using anything other than standard characters (like quite a lot of science and maths-based questions), that is a real pain.
